John Coulombe is the interGen Pastor at First Evangelical Free Church (EvFree) in Fullerton, CA where he has served for the past 30 years.
Ministry has been part of John and Jacque Coulombe’s lives since growing up together in eastern Oregon. They served together in Southern California 50+ years (Long Beach, Santa Barbara & Fullerton) even while Jacque was working as an elementary school teacher. Both attended Judson Baptist College and BIOLA University with John also graduating from Talbot School of Theology. Their married sons and wives have given them eight, one-of-a-kind grandkids. John pastored ‘experienced adults’ at First EvFree in Fullerton for the past 30+ years, retiring as interGen Pastor in May of 2019. John serves as Director of Connections and Development for Legacy Coalition, a national ministry focused on intentional Christian grandparenting. He most recently joined the FishBowl Ministry Team which offers hope, encouragement, and friendship to pastors living in fishbowls under the watchful eye of people, often resulting in unfulfilled expectations, discouragement, and loneliness.
John likes people, hanging out with Jacque and his family, robust coffee, playing his guitar, trombone and a little golf.
