Michael’s Ministry Experience

Michael Delamarian III grew up in a godly Christian home and he came to faith in Christ at an early age. Michael’s father was a minister and church planter and he had the wonderful experience of witnessing the Lord work through various church plants and church growth.

Michael played sports throughout junior high and high school and attended schools in southern California. Michael received an Associate of Arts Degree from Palomar Community College, his Bachelor of Arts Degree in philosophy from the United States International University in San Diego and then his Masters of Divinity degree from Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, CA. Michael served as an Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church in Laguna Hills, CA. for 3 years and then he served as the Senior Pastor at the Hydesville Community Church for 37 years. Both churches are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America. Michael retired from his position as Senior Pastor in June 2020. He and his wife Joanie traveled for a year and then Michael became involved with the ministry called Legacy Coalition that teaches and coaches grandparents how to become “intentional Christian grandparents”.

Michael discovered Fishbowl Ministries through John Coulombe who was on the Fishbowl staff and he joined Fishbowl Ministry Staff in January 2022. Michael was asked to serve as President of Fishbowl Ministries and he accepted that role in February 2023. Michael thoroughly enjoys connecting with pastors and people in ministry one on one. He also organizes and hosts monthly “Fishbowl Pastors and Ministry Workers Breakfasts” during the school year. Michael and Joanie host dinners and barbeques for Pastors and their spouses throughout the year. Michael is passionate about coming alongside pastors and ministry workers and listening to them, showing them love and compassion and encouraging them in the great work that they do for the Lord!
