Strengthening Ministry Through Fellowship

Thirty five years ago, John Coulombe had a desire to reconnect with the men he went to Bible college and seminary with so John organized a retreat that would bring pastors and ministry workers together and renew and refresh friendships and encourage each other spiritually. The first retreat was called “Desert Fathers” and they met at what was formerly Bing Crosby’s home in Palm Springs. It was an amazing retreat where there were intimate times of sharing, prayer, worship, communion and relationship building. The retreats have had an amazing impact on pastors and ministry workers!

Through the years John has continued and multiplied these retreats throughout the country. There are now four spiritual renewal retreats offered every year:

– Desert Fathers – Southern California
– Mt. Hood Fathers – Portland, Oregon
– Rocky Mountain Fathers – Denver, Colorado
– Music City Fathers – Nashbille, Tennessee
